I grew up in the rural college town of Amherst, Massachusetts where I gained an early appreciation for art, music, exploration, and photography. My mother opened my ears to a wide range of music styles by carrying me along to concerts all throughout my childhood. And my father opened my eyes to the creative world of art and photography by exposing me to both analog and digital photography during his time working at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst photo center.
After enduring brutal winters for 25 years in New England, I was fortunate enough to be offered a job in San Francisco, California where I worked as a field engineer on commercial lighting control systems. The biggest project I worked on was at the new San Francisco 49ers stadium in Santa Clara, California. Currently, I reside in Los Angeles where I manage the Field Engineering team for Redaptive Inc.
While my primary photographic focus tends to lean more towards city life and live music, I also enjoy shooting landscapes and abstract images while hiking or exploring cities. My gallery contains images from a variety of events including the 2013 national protests in Bogotá, Colombia and live music from venues such as the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, MA, the House of Blues in Boston, MA, the Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA, and The Independent in San Francisco, CA.
Take a look around and feel free to contact me. Thanks!
