I grew up in the college town of Amherst, Massachusetts where I gained an early appreciation for art, music, exploration, and photography.  My mother opened my ears to a wide range of music styles by carrying me along to concerts all throughout my childhood.  And my father opened my eyes to the creative world of art and photography by exposing me to both analog and digital photography during his time working at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst photo center.

After enduring brutal New England winters for 25 years, I moved to San Francisco where I worked as a Field Engineer on commercial lighting control systems.  Some of my projects included Levi's Stadium, Apple Park, and the Salesforce Tower.  Following that, I joined Redaptive - an early-stage start-up - to build a Field Engineering department for electric, water, and gas metering projects.

While my primary photographic focus tends to lean more towards photojournalism and live events, I also enjoy shooting landscapes and abstract images while hiking or exploring cities.  My gallery contains images from a variety of events including the 2013 national protests in Bogotá, Colombia and live music from venues such as the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, MA, the House of Blues in Boston, MA, the Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA, and The Independent in San Francisco, CA.

Take a look around and feel free to contact me.  Thanks!
